To build the largest and most advanced hospital in Canada, to be named “The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital”, and expand and redevelop Queensway Health Centre, which will be named “The Gilgan Family Queensway Health Centre.”
To fund the Peter Gilgan Family Patient Care Tower, a state-of-the-art building, matching world-class care with family-friendly spaces for patients and their loved ones.
To support a new surgical robotics program.
To fund the establishment of the Peter Gilgan Centre for Women’s Cancers in partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society and Women’s College Hospital.
To modernize spaces for a better patient experience, purchase equipment and technology, and create specialized areas to meet the community’s unique health needs.
To fund the Peter Gilgan Atrium – the centrepiece of Women’s College Hospital.
To fund the Peter Gilgan Patient Care Tower for critically ill patients.
To support the updating of Emergency Department equipment and facilities.
To support the Mississauga Hospital’s state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
To support the building of the Birmingham Gilgan House where people living with cancer can gather and access all kinds of support.
To support the construction and operation of the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning – Canada’s largest, hospital-based child health research institute.
