2024 GTA Community Grants Announced
The Peter Gilgan Foundation is thrilled to announce our newest grantee partners—18 grassroots organizations that are making a profound impact in the Greater Toronto Area. Through our GTA Community Grants Program, we are committed to supporting essential community-driven programs. The Foundation has partnered with these organizations because of their deep roots within their communities, their unique understanding of local needs, and their ability to implement tailored solutions that drive meaningful change.
This year, our review committee focused on two thematic areas:
Enhancing Equitable Access to Food: We are partnering with organizations that are ensuring children, youth, and families in their communities have access to nutritious and affordable food. These groups are tackling food insecurity head-on and promoting sustainable, local food systems to foster a healthier, more equitable future.

We are honoured to support these leaders as they work towards creating equitable and sustainable communities.
